Our Year in Review + Looking Forward

Hi GuidED Families & Friends,

As we begin a new year, we want to take a moment to reflect on all that we accomplished together in 2025. Thanks to the trust of our students and families — and the support of our partners and community — this year was filled with meaningful milestones, exciting growth, and powerful progress. Most importantly, it was a year defined by students gaining clarity, confidence, and direction as they navigated one of the most important journeys of their lives.

Here are a few moments we’re especially proud of:

Wide Spectrum of Acceptances

This year, we worked with 169 clients — supporting students across a wide spectrum of acceptances, academic profiles, goals, and timelines. What mattered most wasn’t just where students were accepted… but that they found the right fit — places they will thrive, grow, and belong.

Our Team Grew
To better serve families, we expanded our expertise and capacity:

  • We welcomed Laura Uribe as a college consultant, collaborating with Dr. Deborah Hardy, Sandra Henderson and Lindsay Omin.
  • We added Anthony as a Career Development Consultant, supporting students with purpose, direction, and real-world planning beyond college admissions

Trusted Partners + Expanded Student Programming

Because students thrive with the right ecosystem, we’ve continued building relationships with trusted experts who complement our admissions advising. Families have the option to work with these partners directly as an additional service (separately contracted and paid to each provider):

  • Armstrong Tutoring (Ellen Armstrong) — SAT prep and academic tutoring
  • Randi Brown — Executive Functioning Consulting (organization, time management, planning, and student independence)

We also expanded opportunities for students to learn directly from colleges through our growing lineup of College Chats and College Rep conversations — and we’re excited to continue building these experiences in the year ahead.

A New Office Space

We moved into a new office this year — with more room, more flexibility, and more opportunity to expand our in-person offerings, including workshops and student programming.

Expanded Curriculum: Beyond the Process

One of our proudest evolutions this year was growing our curriculum — including Beyond the Process, which focuses on the emotional well-being of students throughout this journey.

Because the truth is: this isn’t just an application process. It’s identity-building. It’s pressure-filled. It’s deeply personal.
And we believe students deserve support that reflects that.

To our current families: thank you for trusting us. It’s an honor to be part of your student’s story.

To prospective families: if you’re entering this process feeling overwhelmed or unsure where to start, we’d love to connect. The right guidance changes everything — for students and parents alike.

With gratitude,
GuidED Consulting
